“I was looking for something interesting, new, and informative, and that’s why I became a volunteer,” explains Maksym, adding that he has never regretted his decision.

Maksym now holds the position of volunteer leader at the Ivano-Frankivsk city branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross. He has been with us for almost two years, starting as a volunteer and later becoming a first aid instructor. His main responsibilities now include coordinating volunteer activities, organising thematic events, both formal and informal meetings, recruiting newcomers to our team, and informing the public that the Ukrainian Red Cross is always welcoming new volunteers.

Additionally, Maksym contributes to the development of the youth sector by promoting cooperation with NGOs and the Department of Youth Policy and Sports of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration.
