Specialists from the Ukrainian Red Cross, in collaboration with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, have undergone all-Ukrainian tactical and specialised training

During September and early October 2024, emergency response teams from the Vinnytsia, Volyn, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Rivne, Odesa, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, Kherson, Chernivtsi, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv regional branches of the Ukrainian Red Cross underwent specialised training on the actions of governing authorities and civil protection forces within the territorial subsystems of the Unified State Civil Protection System (USCPS).

The regional branches of the Ukrainian Red Cross are integral to the territorial subsystems of the USCPS and are currently reliable partners of government agencies in responding to emergencies, including those caused by shelling and air attacks.
