Assistance to Those Affected in Zaporizhzhia
Zaporizhzhia. Russian troops conducted air strikes on the city. One person was killed, and 18 others were injured, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
A fifteen-story building was hit. The upper floors were partially destroyed, and the facade and cars parked nearby were damaged.
The Zaporizhzhia emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross participated in the attack’s aftermath. Together with first responders, the volunteers inspected the apartments in the damaged residential building and evacuated the residents. The volunteers also provided first aid and psychological first aid at the scene and transported the victims to a medical facility.
