The Ukrainian Red Cross, in collaboration with the World Food Programme (WFP), continues to support the most vulnerable populations in Kherson, including isolated elderly individuals aged 60+ and people with disabilities.

Volunteers from the Kherson regional branch deliver humanitarian aid to areas where residents have been confined to their homes for several days due to ongoing shelling.

“Our team helps those who need it most. We recognise the importance of supporting the elderly and people with disabilities during such a challenging time. Each time they receive assistance, their smiles inspire us to continue this vital work,” comments Svitlana Shcherbyna, WFP Programme Coordinator at the Kherson regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross.
