Assistance to Those Affected by the Attack on the Geriatric Nursing Home in Sumy
Sumy: An airstrike on a five-storey geriatric nursing home resulted in one fatality and 13 injuries. A total of 147 people were evacuated from the building, and no one remains trapped under the rubble.
At the site of the strike, 14 volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response teams collaborated with city services: They evacuated patients with limited mobility from the damaged premises, provided first aid and psychological first aid to the victims, supplied drinking water, and transported evacuees to safe locations.
