The call for applications to participate in the REDpreneurUA project by the Ukrainian Red Cross has been launched
REDpreneurUA is a programme initiated by the Austrian Red Cross to develop business skills and support entrepreneurs who wish to change the world. In Ukraine, it provides entrepreneurs with a unique opportunity not only to start their own businesses but also to contribute to the country’s economic recovery.
The first intake of candidates commences today, 19 September. They will receive free training in all aspects of business—from the conception of an idea to its successful implementation. This programme provides not only knowledge and tools for creating a sustainable and socially responsible business but also serves as an effective means for the country’s recovery and prosperity.
Requirements for project participants:
- Aged 18 to 59 years.
- Reside in Ukraine, regardless of region (the main requirement is a stable internet connection to complete the programme).
- Have a business idea that coaches and mentors will assist in developing into a detailed business plan.
- Belong to one of the following categories of vulnerable populations: internally displaced persons, persons with disabilities, women in difficult life circumstances, guardians, large families, single parents, unemployed individuals, or veterans.
Participants who seek to establish a new business and create employment opportunities, as well as entrepreneurs planning to launch start-ups or social enterprises aimed at the recovery and development of Ukraine, will receive priority in the selection process.
The REDpreneurUA programme is distinguished by its innovative approach to learning, combining theory with practice in collaboration with leading business incubators and schools. Thanks to the support of these partners, participants will have access to best business practices and the opportunity to create innovative solutions for the country’s recovery.
