Another evacuation train has arrived in the Kirovohrad region
Last night, Kropyvnytskyi welcomed residents of Pokrovsk who were forced to leave their homes. Volunteers from the Kirovohrad regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross undertook the important task of meeting the evacuation train.
They set up temporary rest areas at the railway station, providing people with hot drinks, food, and other essentials. In addition, the volunteers offered psychological first aid, helping to stabilise people’s conditions, calm them, and direct them to the places where evacuation buses were waiting.
The coordinated efforts of the volunteers, along with the support of the local community, created an environment in which people felt more secure and supported during this difficult time. All those who arrived – 63 people – received appropriate attention and assistance, ranging from medical consultations to information support.
