In Uhryniv, the Ukrainian Red Cross joined the opening of a new building of the State Rehabilitation Institution ‘Donbas’ Centre for Comprehensive Rehabilitation for Persons with Disabilities

The opening of the second building in the Zakarpattia region marks a significant advancement in enhancing the quality of rehabilitation services. This new facility will extend its reach to help more people, offer improved services, and create additional opportunities for rehabilitation.

The Donbas Centre provides assistance to people affected by the war in Ukraine, veterans, children with disabilities, and internally displaced persons. The Ukrainian Red Cross is currently developing its activities in the field of physical and mental rehabilitation, including the restoration and construction of rehabilitation centres. This initiative is particularly crucial for remote regions with limited or non-existent access to such services.
