The Ukrainian Red Cross has provided water monitoring equipment to the State Agency of Water Resources for use in the Donetsk region

The Siverskyi Donets Basin Water Resources Administration has received humanitarian aid from the Ukrainian Red Cross, including a new, modern device for its water monitoring laboratory in the eastern region. This laboratory is one of four primary laboratories operated by the State Agency of Water Resources that monitor surface waters in accordance with European standards.

The modern KjelROC KD-310-C1 Analyser will enable prompt and high-quality determination of biogenic pollution compounds, specifically total nitrogen, at drinking water intakes in the cities of Kharkiv, Izium, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, and other areas continually affected by military operations in eastern Ukraine. Additionally, the device’s compliance with ISO 17025 will help reduce time and costs when integrating it into existing laboratory processes.

Under the Memorandum with the State Agency of Water Resources, the Ukrainian Red Cross contributes to enhancing the technical capacity of water infrastructure and supports enterprises, institutions, and organisations under the State Agency’s management.
