The Ukrainian Red Cross has initiated mini-grant payments via NovaPay
Sixty entrepreneurs will receive mini-grants of UAH 100,000 each to restore their businesses or implement a ready-made business plan as part of the Ukrainian Red Cross project, “Reboot: Expanding Employment Opportunities”. This project is open to IDPs, veterans and their families, people with disabilities, large families, and others.
The project operates in five regions: Cherkasy, Ternopil, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, and Vinnytsia. The grant amount is allocated for one business idea and is divided into two equal instalments.
NovaPay has partnered with the Ukrainian Red Cross for this project. The funds will be available in cash at one of the 3,500 Nova Poshta branches. NovaPay works directly with the Ukrainian Red Cross, without intermediaries, making the process faster and more convenient for all parties.
To receive the payment, follow these steps:
- Visit a convenient Nova Poshta branch.
- Inform the cashier about the transfer from the Ukrainian Red Cross and provide the unique code sent by the organisation in advance.
- Provide identification documents.
- Collect the cash.
Information on the requirements for receiving mini-grants under the “Reboot: Expanding Employment Opportunities” project and on the determination of financial assistance can be obtained from the regional branches of the Ukrainian Red Cross or by calling the hotline at 0 800 332 656.
The Ukrainian Red Cross is the country’s largest national organisation, comprising over 200 branches, 8,000 volunteers, and 5,000 employees nationwide. Since 24 February 2022, more than 12.7 million Ukrainians have received food parcels and hygiene kits from the organisation’s volunteers.
