The first psychosocial support event was held by Ukrainian Red Cross volunteers in Rokyni village, Volyn region

An event for children from vulnerable groups was held at the House of Culture (a community centre).

The main goals were to create a safe space for the participants, improve their emotional well-being, help them meet peers, and teach them how to care for themselves and their loved ones. Some of the children are deprived of parental care, some are separated from their relatives, or some have relocated to the Volyn region from other areas. Therefore, it is crucial for these children to receive support and feel secure.

Twice a week, the venue will host creative classes, active games, and family events. There are plans to extend these activities to teenagers through the “Building the Future Together” programme and involve the elderly. These activities are implemented with the support of the German Red Cross.
