Over 450 people were educated on mine risk in Cherkasy in July
Volunteer instructors from the Risk Awareness and Safer Behaviour programme at the Cherkasy city branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross actively collaborate with enterprises, institutions, and organisations in the city. They conduct both group and individual mine risk education sessions for employees. Participants are educated about mines and explosive ordnance, signs of dangerous areas, official and unofficial markings of such areas, and safe behaviour in the event of detecting a mine.
In July, 19 group sessions on mine risk were held, attended by 277 people, and individual sessions were conducted for 191 people.
