Kyiv residents are informed about mine risk

Mine risk education remains an important area of activity for the Ukrainian Red Cross, as part of Ukraine is mined or contaminated with explosive remnants. Therefore, everyone should be aware of mine risks, the different types of mines, and the appropriate safety measures to take if they encounter them.

Thus, volunteers of the Kyiv city branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross and district branches of the Ukrainian Red Cross in Kyiv conduct daily information sessions and educate residents of the capital about mine risks. Everyone should know what booby traps, tripwires, and other types of mines look like, and most importantly, know what to do when they come across a potential danger:

  • do not approach;
  • do not touch;
  • call 101 or 102.
