Kherson residents have received humanitarian aid from the Ukrainian Red Cross and the World Food Programme

“We understand that for many elderly people, receiving such assistance is a matter of survival. In the face of constant danger, providing vulnerable individuals with essential foods is crucial. Our volunteers are dedicated to delivering these vital supplies because, in the current circumstances, they can be a real lifesaver for many,” highlights Larysa Marchenko, Head of the Kherson regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross.

An important initiative is underway to support those aged 60+ and people with disabilities in Kherson. The Ukrainian Red Cross, in collaboration with the World Food Programme, provides food parcels to older people.
