A social laundry will soon be opened in Kitsman, Chernivtsi region

A social laundry is a facility where people from vulnerable groups, including internally displaced persons, can wash, dry, and iron their clothes. Many internally displaced persons in the region have sought shelter in local communities while fleeing shelling. This social laundry will help ease the lives of those in shelters who do not have washing machines. 

The establishment of a social laundry is made possible through the BraVo programme, which focuses on branch and volunteer development within the Ukrainian Red Cross.
