In Kharkiv, more than 30 emergency response team volunteers learned how to provide psychological first aid

The basic principles of providing psychological first aid, understanding possible reactions to crisis events, and learning how to care for one’s own well-being are essential skills that will help participants assist victims or individuals under severe stress during incidents.

In addition to providing first aid and practical assistance, their training in psychological first aid enables them to offer emotional support. This training is particularly crucial in the Kharkiv region, where shelling frequently occurs.
