In Zaporizhzhia, children continue to receive information about explosive devices

Over the course of a month, mine risk instructors from the Zaporizhzhia regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross educated around 350 children on the risks of mines and safe handling practices.

The team participated in a series of events at a charity fair called “On the Road of Childhood”, organised by the Coordination Humanitarian Centre of the Zaporizhzhia region. Three hundred forty children, mostly internally displaced, attended the “Bezpekopolis (Safe City)” location, where they learned about the concepts of mines and explosive devices. The children were demonstrated what mines looked like on 3D stands and in presentations.
