The Head of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross was honoured with an award

Valerii Starchenko was awarded the Ukrainian Red Cross Badge of Honour. As the head of the regional branch, he made a significant contribution to its growth, strengthening, and development. His dedication, many years of conscientious work, commitment to addressing the needs of vulnerable groups, caring for his team, and upholding the fundamental principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement were acknowledged. Additionally, he was honoured for fostering friendly relations with partners from National Red Cross Societies and local governments. His efforts in implementing social protection programmes for motherhood, childhood, and family, promoting volunteerism and youth development, introducing innovative work methods and training, and contributing to emergency response were also recognised.
