Children’s Day Celebrated with Bright and Cheerful Activities Across Various Ukrainian Red Cross Locations in the Odesa Region

We organised masterclasses, competitions, songs, games, and gifts to make our young friends happy and provide them with another joyful and memorable day.

On the eve of International Children’s Day, the Kyiv district branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross visited children at the City Specialised Children’s Home No. 1 and presented them with gifts. Additionally, we arranged a visit to the magical “Krayina Mriy” (Land of Dreams) Children’s Entertainment Centre for 90 children from families of internally displaced persons and children from the Dalnyk amalgamated territorial community.

In the Peresypskyi district of Odesa, Ukrainian Red Cross volunteers created a true oasis of harmony, fostering an atmosphere of warmth, joy, and genuine smiles. Children eagerly participated in a drawing competition, their eyes shining with inspiration! Each picture was unique, and the volunteers received real masterpieces from the young artists.

The Malynovska district branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross in Odesa collaborated with partners from the “Don Bosco” Charitable Foundation to host a festive event. The event included a first aid masterclass, a mine risk awareness session, an informational session, and a creative event focusing on psychosocial support.

Meanwhile, the team of the Chornomorsk city branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross organised a wonderful holiday event for the city’s children. The event featured competitions, relay races, masterclasses, aqua make-up, and other activities for children and their parents. Additionally, 130 children received small gifts.

The Izmail regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross joined city events organized by the Alla Ivanova Palace of Children and Youth.

Volunteers from the Bolhrad district branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross hosted a festive event titled “Every Child Should Be Happy!” which was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The event featured an entertaining program with charming animators. Children had the opportunity to meet their favourite characters, such as Wednesday, Pirates, Clown, and Cook from Italy, who brought joy and created unforgettable moments.

Furthermore, volunteers from the Podil branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross organized an engaging and informative event for children in the town of Balta. Activities included creating applications, outdoor games, dancing, drawing on the pavement, and participating in a first aid workshop to learn valuable skills.

We stand by those in need.
