The Ukrainian Red Cross Volunteers and Emergency Workers Meet the Evacuation Train from Kherson
Recently, an evacuation train from Kherson arrived in the Khmelnytskyi region. First responders from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and volunteers from the Khmelnytskyi regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross met the newcomers on the platform. The volunteers assisted with carrying people’s belongings, helped them get off the train, and transported those with limited mobility. Additionally, the volunteers offered warm tea to the newcomers. Moreover, the Ukrainian Red Cross specialists held a psychosocial support event for the children as they waited for their parents to arrange assistance and accommodation.
