Today in Kyiv, Experts Discussed the Work of Mobile Pharmacies in Communities

Mobile pharmacies serve as convenient and effective tools for providing communities with access to healthcare services in remote settlements, particularly during hostilities. For instance, in the Mykolaiv region, a mobile pharmacy of the Ukrainian Red Cross is already operational, providing essential support to communities where traditional pharmacies are lacking. 

It is worth noting that for many people who live far from regional and district centres, this is an opportunity to receive prescribed medicines free of charge or at a certain discount under the Affordable Medicines state programme. 

However, the specifics of work and the challenges mobile pharmacies encounter may vary from region to region in Ukraine. Therefore, specialists and experts convened to discuss the potential issues that may arise while implementing mobile health units across the country.
