Fraud Warning!

False information is being spread about the purported distribution of Easter gift boxes to all Ukrainians who have fled abroad. Fraudsters are spreading this misinformation through news channels, urging individuals to apply via an allegedly official Telegram bot, which collects personal data and requests confirmation of personal information. It is important to note that this information and chatbot are fake. 

False information is also being spread about open registration for financial assistance from the Ukrainian Red Cross, purportedly available to specific categories of people for a three-month period. It is important to note that this information is also untrue. 

The Ukrainian Red Cross informs about all types of humanitarian aid on official communication channels, such as the redcross.org.ua website, and never collects personal data via social media. 

Please exercise caution and check information about the types of humanitarian aid from official sources of the Ukrainian Red Cross and do not share your personal data with fraudsters. 

If you encounter any false information, please report it by sending a link to the fake source and a letter to sos@redcross.org.ua.
