Training on Safer Behavior for Volunteers Held in Kyiv

Kyiv hosted a training on safer behaviour and raising awareness of the risks of mines and explosive remnants of war for volunteers of the Ukrainian Red Cross city branch. The training was attended by 15 volunteer instructors of the Mine Risk Unit.

During the training, participants enhanced their knowledge of safe behaviour and safety precautions in the event of detecting explosive ordnance and mines. The programme included both theoretical aspects about explosive hazards and safer behaviour, as well as practical communication techniques for conveying sensitive information about mine risk safely and effectively. The training participants are now preparing to obtain certification and begin their extremely important work of educating Kyiv residents on safer behaviour.
