Emergency Response to Flooding in the Cherkasy Region

Flooding has been reported in the Cherkasy region. The streets of Khreshchatyk village, located in the Cherkasy district, have been under water for more than two days. The emergency response team, along with the Cherkasy regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross and the State Emergency Service, responded to the emergency to help people affected by the disaster.

Food, hygiene kits, and warm blankets were promptly delivered and distributed to local residents in the flooded area.

Additionally, volunteers provided pet food to both owned pets and stray animals as part of the pet assistance program from our partners Humane Society International (HSI).
