Psychosocial Support for Children in the Shelter in Dnipro
For the second year in a row, volunteers from the Chechelivskyi district branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross in Dnipro have been organising psychosocial support activities at the shelter for children who were forced to leave their homes with their families.
In a safe space, volunteers help participants express emotions through creativity and find their own ways to overcome stress, enabling them to return to a more normal life. These children, who live far away from home, have experienced traumatic events, making such supportive group activities very important for them.
The Shelter project was initiated by the East Europe Foundation and aims to assist families who have been forced to relocate from other regions of Ukraine to the Dnipro region.
