The Deputy Director General of the Ukrainian Red Cross conducted a working visit to Denmark
The Deputy Director General of the Ukrainian Red Cross, Illya Kletskovskyy, conducted a working visit to Denmark. He held meetings with the Secretary General of the Danish Red Cross, Anders Ladekarl, and representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.
During his visit, Illya Kletskovskyy presented the activities carried out by the staff and volunteers of the Ukrainian Red Cross. For instance, since February 2022, one in six Ukrainians has received assistance from the Ukrainian Red Cross in various forms.
He also addressed the priority areas of activity in Ukraine, such as reconstruction, emergency response, evacuation from active combat zones, delivering humanitarian aid to war-affected communities, ongoing public first aid training, education on mine risk, and providing psychosocial support.
The visit highlighted the close cooperation between the Ukrainian and Danish Red Crosses in mitigating the humanitarian crisis and enhancing the well-being of people impacted by the war in Ukraine.
