A Public Meeting was Held in Vinnytsia as Part of the ‘Reset: Expanding Employment Opportunities’ Project

The Ukrainian Red Cross, in collaboration with the Department of International Cooperation and Regional Development of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration and the Vinnytsia Regional Employment Centre, held meetings as part of the ‘Reset: Expanding Employment Opportunities’ project. The project aims to prepare individuals for job searches, provide training, and support business recovery.

The meeting was convened to address employment issues and seek collaborative solutions. Representatives from local authorities, the Mohyliv-Podilskyi branch of the Vinnytsia Regional Employment Centre, the Social Protection Department of the Mohyliv-Podilskyi District State Administration, and employers discussed with local residents the opportunities for free vocational training, financial support for microbusinesses, and assistance in job readiness.

“People who wish to improve their financial situation and transform their lives are welcome to participate. Our team is committed to supporting individuals who have been on the wait-list for two years,” stated Oksana Dodon, project coordinator of the Vinnytsia Regional Branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross.

The main participants are individuals who have been compelled to relocate from other regions to the Vinnytsia region, facing challenges in finding employment in their new area of residence. Additionally, war veterans, people with disabilities, large families, and the elderly are eligible to join the project. Recognizing that self-employment is the primary income source in these communities, it was decided to organize regular meetings with residents of Mohyliv-Podilskyi and Murovani Kurylivtsi communities to discuss mini-grants.
