The Kindergarten Reconstruction Underway in Brovary Community

“The Ukrainian Red Cross, as the largest humanitarian organization in the country, has extensive experience not only in implementing large-scale humanitarian projects but also in rebuilding social infrastructure. We have a long and successful track record of cooperation with the Coca-Cola Company in Ukraine, and we will make every effort to ensure that the children of the community have a new, comfortable kindergarten as soon as possible,” said Maksym Dotsenko, Director General of the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross.

The Ukrainian Coca-Cola plant is located within the territory of the Velykodymerska united territorial community, which also encompasses the village of Bohdanivka, situated near the plant. Adnan Topic, General Manager of BU Ukraine & Armenia & Moldova at Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company, stated, “Coca-Cola has decided to construct and give a new kindergarten as a gift to the Bohdanivka village community as a gesture of support and respect for the Ukrainian people and the community where the Ukrainian Coca-Cola plant has been operating for 25 years. We stand firmly with our people, communities, and customers, and this project serves as further proof of our unwavering commitment.”

Overall, since February 24, 2022, the Coca-Cola Company Group, along with the Coca-Cola Foundation, has provided charitable assistance to Ukrainians totaling more than USD 35 million.

“Over the past two years, Coca-Cola has focused its support for Ukraine on humanitarian aid and community strengthening. In collaboration with the Ukrainian Red Cross, we have procured and delivered 45 mobile boilers essential for winter, 70 thousand food packages, 5 thousand bedding sets including warm blankets, over fifty powerful generators for educational, medical, and humanitarian institutions, and much more,” stated Olena Sereda, CEO of Coca-Cola Ukraine.
