Every week, a team of specialists and volunteers from the Kharkiv regional organisation of the Ukrainian Red Cross visits settlements near the border or along the 15-km zone from the active combat zone.

For example, recently, with the support of the Danish Red Cross , the team delivered electric convectors to more than 380 families in Vovchansk who were left without heating in multi-storey buildings. This equipment will help them survive the winter in warmth.

In addition, more than 500 families with children living in the community received family hygiene kits from the Romanian Red Cross and sleeping bags from the ICRC.
