Hospital in Kyiv Oblast equipped with solar panels with the help of the Ukrainian Red Cross

The installation of solar panels for the Vyshneve City Hospital in Kyiv Oblast, which serves more than 120,000 people and thousands of IDPs living in the community, has been completed. Now, this municipal healthcare facility can provide medical services to patients even during emergency power outages.

“The Ukrainian Red Cross implements many major projects that support and restore critical infrastructure in Ukraine, including medical facilities. It is essential for us that people have the opportunity to receive timely medical care, as it is a matter of saving lives,” said Maksym Dotsenko, Director General of the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society.

Реалізація проєкту стала можлива завдяки підтримці Українського Червоного Хреста та Естонського Червоного Хреста в ефективній співпраці з Міністерством охорони здоров’я України та Київською обласною військовою адміністрацією.

«Хочу подякувати насамперед, Українському Червоному Хресту за цю ініціативу, за реалізацію такого проєкту та правильні пріоритети у напрямку підтримки держави. Для нас важливо, що ми з Українським Червоним Хрестом маємо спільне бачення розвитку та взаємодії в частині впровадження енергоефективності й забезпечення автономності закладів охорони здоров’я заради підтримки українців», —наголосив Віталій Власюк радник Міністра охорони здоровʼя України.

The project was made possible thanks to the support of the Ukrainian Red Cross and the Estonian Red Cross in close cooperation with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
