The Ukrainian Red Cross Society initiates the creation of a sculptural composition in Kyiv dedicated to the activities of volunteers

At the press conference “We are of different nationalities, but we are united in the struggle for peace in Ukraine”, held recently in Ukrinform, the President of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society announced the creation of a sculptural composition in Kyiv dedicated to the activities of volunteers.

“Currently, the volunteer movement has gained a surprisingly wide scope. Therefore, the Ukrainian Red Cross Society is the initiator of the creation of a sculptural composition in Kyiv, which will be dedicated to volunteers. Currently, there are about a million people participating in the volunteer movement throughout Ukraine,” Polishchuk said.

The sculpture will symbolize each volunteer contribution of who, from February 24, 2022, continues to take risks to help those who need support the most. This will become a symbol of the unity of all people, regardless of their nationality, gender, age, religious or other preferences, for the highest goal – to help people in this extremely difficult time for Ukraine.
