Ukrainian Red Cross is helping to evacuate people with disabilities from dangerous regions of Ukraine to Italy

Yesterday, the third mission to evacuate the most vulnerable groups, including people with disabilities, took place. This time 84 people were evacuated from different parts of Ukraine: Donetska, Luhanska, Chernihivska, Kyivska, Kharkivska, Mykolaivska, Khersonska, Zaporizka and other oblasts. They are already in Italy and are undergoing a full medical examination.

The evacuation was carried out in cooperation of the Office of the government commissioner for the rights of persons with disabilities with Ukrainian Red Cross and Italian Red Cross, as well as with Lviv regional state administration, the Department of social Protection of Lviv regional state administration, and the SES of Ukraine.
