From Goals to Concrete Steps: September Webinar Highlights from the Supporting the Reintegration of Veterans in Ukraine Programme
In September, educational events organised by the Ukrainian Red Cross and NGO UMIND received around 600 registrations. Veterans, entrepreneurs and professionals from various fields took part in the events.
This time, the focus was on goal-setting, building social capital and moving beyond day-to-day operational tasks.
Why do we put life on hold, and how can we move from plans to action? These questions were explored during a session with Tetiana Anufriieva. Participants learned to break down ambitious goals into concrete steps and prioritise effectively.
Olena Levandovska, co-founder of NGO UMIND and CEO of communications agency sensy buro, dedicated her lecture to personal branding and networking. Participants analysed their professional networks and discussed approaches to building long-term relationships. The key insight from the discussion was: “The strongest partnership is not about exchanging services, but about creating new value.”
The transition from hands-on management to a more systematic approach to running a business was discussed with ICF coach and strategic development expert Yuliia Tsaruk. According to the speaker, “chaos is not laziness or disorganisation, but the absence of a system.” During the online session, participants looked at business through the lens of three roles — Technician, Manager and Entrepreneur — to learn how to make time for the strategic development of their businesses.
More lectures and practical sessions are coming soon.

The events are held as part of the Supporting the Reintegration of Veterans in Ukraine programme, implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross with support from the Danish Red Cross and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, with organisational and technical support from NGO UMIND.
