The Ukrainian Red Cross assists in fighting fires in the Kyiv region
Volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response teams in the Kyiv region and the National Committee joined firefighting efforts at three locations following a request from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Volunteer fire brigades Forpost-101 and KARG also took part in the response.
In the Vyshhorod district, including the villages of Voropaiv, Novosilky and Dubechne, volunteers assisted firefighters in containing large-scale fires. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.
The Ukrainian Red Cross continues to support emergency services and communities in responding to emergencies.
