“I work 4 hours a day and I’m in my second year at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy,” says Arina, who has been working as a fundraiser for the Face-to-Face project for the past eight months
If you’re looking for more than just a part-time job and want to level up your skills, join the Face-to-Face fundraising team in Kyiv or Odesa!
What will you do?
You’ll engage with people on the streets, tell them about the work of the Ukrainian Red Cross, and encourage them to support the organisation through regular donations.
Think you need to be a natural communicator for this? Arina thought so too.
“Communication skills and resilience are the main things I’ve developed through this job. On my first day after training, I signed up my first two regular donors. That’s when something clicked inside me: ‘Okay, people really are willing to donate, and I can do this.’ Once things start working out, the fear simply disappears.”
Alongside developing communication skills, you’ll gain freedom and financial stability.
“What do I like most? Definitely the flexible schedule and the salary, because, let’s be honest, we all work to earn money. And the team too — there are lots of young people here to connect with and spend time with. They’re interesting people, and it’s fun working together.”
