REDpreneur finalists develop marketing strategies to grow social enterprises across the Ukrainian Red Cross network

A practical marketing training was held in Lviv for 10 finalist teams of the REDpreneur programme. Two representatives from each team participated in the intensive workshop, exploring tools and approaches to promote socially impactful businesses and identifying solutions that will help more people learn about their initiatives.

The training focused on hands-on learning rather than theory. Participants developed practical marketing plans for their enterprises, identified target audiences, learned how to map customer journeys, and explored how to build strong brands from the ground up. They also worked on combining modern business approaches with the humanitarian values of the Red Cross, while considering how their enterprises could support local communities through the work of Ukrainian Red Cross branches.

The intensive helped teams strengthen their understanding of how to build financially sustainable social enterprises rather than relying solely on charitable support. The marketing knowledge and skills they gained will help them effectively promote their products and services, generate income, and address humanitarian needs within their communities.

The REDpreneur project is implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross with support from the French Red Cross and in cooperation with the Austrian Red Cross.
