Lessons Learned Workshop for the REDpreneurUA Programme Held in Kyiv
A lessons learned workshop for the REDpreneurUA programme was held in Kyiv, bringing together teams involved in implementing initiatives that support entrepreneurship and economic resilience in Ukraine.
During the workshop, participants reviewed the results and implementation experience of three programme components. These included REDpreneurUA, which supports a sustainable economy and the economic resilience of vulnerable groups through training delivered by business schools and incubators, combined with opportunities to receive grants for business development; RED HUB, an innovative Ukrainian Red Cross space that supports entrepreneurs seeking to grow businesses with a social impact; and REDpreneur Women, a programme aimed at advancing women’s economic empowerment in Ukraine.
Particular attention was given to evaluating the full programme cycle — from launching calls for applications and delivering training to providing grant support and ongoing mentoring. Participants discussed successful practices, challenges encountered during implementation, and differences in approaches used to engage various target groups.
Through joint sessions and group discussions, participants identified the strengths of the approaches used, outlined areas for improvement, and developed practical recommendations for future entrepreneurship and economic resilience programmes.
Such meetings help systematise lessons learned, improve the effectiveness of economic recovery programmes, and ensure that experience gained is incorporated into the design of future initiatives.
The REDpreneurUA programme is implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross in partnership with the Austrian Red Cross and with support from the Austrian foundation NACHBAR IN NOT. IN NOT.
