The Ukrainian Red Cross responds to the consequences of today’s attacks

Emergency response teams of the Ukrainian Red Cross are working in the Odesa, Cherkasy, Rivne, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions alongside emergency services, providing assistance to those affected.

  • Odesa: The emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross worked at the site of the attack together with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Volunteers were on duty to provide assistance to both affected people and first responders, and also took part in distributing humanitarian aid.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, drones caused vehicles to catch fire in the courtyard of a residential building. Two people were reportedly injured.

  • Cherkasy region: The team of the Cherkasy regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross worked in Smila at the site of the attack’s aftermath. Volunteers provided psychological first aid, supported people in the first hours after the incident, assessed damaged housing, and identified needs. Residents whose homes were damaged are currently receiving materials for temporary repairs and essential relief items.

According to the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, residential buildings were damaged. Three people were injured and hospitalised.

  • Rivne: The emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross in the Rivne region is working at the site of the aftermath. Volunteers are assisting emergency responders, providing drinking water, offering psychological support to local residents, and remaining on standby to provide first aid.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, three people were killed and six were injured.

  • Ivano-Frankivsk: The emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross is working at the site of the aftermath. Volunteers are supporting first responders and remain on standby to assist those affected.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, a fire broke out in a nine-storey residential building. Six people were rescued and five evacuated. Information on casualties is being clarified.
