Reboot Programme Hosts Meeting with Internally Displaced People at Kherson Hub in Kyiv
During the event, participants received practical guidance on adapting to new conditions, coping with stress, and restoring internal resilience. Particular attention was given to employment opportunities, including free training within the “Reboot: Expanding Employment Opportunities” programme. This includes courses designed to help participants acquire new professional skills and improve their competitiveness on the labour market.
Participants actively engaged in the discussion, shared their personal experiences, and asked questions about job searching and integration in the capital.
The Kyiv-based programme team works systematically with internally displaced people, helping them find employment and adapt to their new environment. In particular, specialists also took part in a job fair at Kyiv’s central railway station, where they provided information on opportunities available through participation in the programme.
This work is especially relevant, as the Kyiv City State Administration reports that more than 430,000 internally displaced people are currently living in Kyiv. A significant proportion are people from southern regions, including the Kherson region, who require support in employment and adaptation to their new lives.
