The Ukrainian Red Cross works not only to respond to the crisis, but also to support the country’s recovery

REDPRENEURUA focuses on social entrepreneurship and strengthening the financial resilience of communities. The programme supports the development of social enterprises by providing mentoring and access to funding, and by creating employment opportunities — particularly for internally displaced persons (IDPs) and people in vulnerable situations.

Social enterprises enable local branches to generate their own income and reduce their reliance on external funding. This, in turn, allows them to respond more quickly to community needs and to deliver sustainable social services to the most vulnerable.

Even during the war, we continue to invest in long-term resilience — together with the French Red Cross and the Austrian Red Cross.
