Video: Innovations Born in Ukraine
Oleksii Nazarenko, a participant in the first cohort of the REDpreneurUA Programme from the city of Sumy, is developing Ukraine’s first new-generation brushless DC motors (BLDC), which consume 30–40% less electricity than conventional models. His team not only develops their own innovative technologies but also combines scientific progress with a social mission — the enterprise employs people with disabilities, internally displaced persons, and parents of large families.
Through his participation in the REDpreneurUA Programme, Oleksii has been able to transform a high-tech idea into a socially responsible business, demonstrating that Ukrainian innovation can be not only competitive but also a driver of positive social change.
“As participants in the first REDpreneurUA cohort, we are building horizontal partnerships and finding ways to support one another. We come from different regions of Ukraine, and times are challenging for everyone. Yet we can manufacture in Ukraine, create innovative products, and make our country known across the world!” — says Oleksii.
