Vinnytsia City Council has recognised a REDpreneurUA Programme participant with a letter of appreciation

Denys Romanovskyi, a participant and winner of the first cohort of the REDpreneurUA Programme, and an entrepreneur from Vinnytsia, has received a letter of appreciation from the mayor on the occasion of Entrepreneur’s Day in Ukraine. This recognition highlights his professionalism, active civic engagement, and valuable contribution to the development of social entrepreneurship and community support.

Denys’s story is truly inspiring. After losing his eyesight and undergoing rehabilitation, he found the strength to launch his own business — a car service station in Vinnytsia, where he specialises in auto electrical repairs, diagnostics, and servicing. Today, he not only runs a successful enterprise but also actively supports fellow veterans, setting an example of strong, responsible veteran entrepreneurship.

Thanks to grant support from the REDpreneurUA Programme, Denys’s service station is now equipped with modern tools, essential supplies, and well-fitted premises. His efforts have now received well-deserved recognition at the local level.

“Special thanks to the Ukrainian Red Cross and the REDpreneurUA teams for the fundamental experience and opportunity to get started!” — noted Denys.

The REDpreneurUA Programme is implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross in partnership with the Austrian Red Cross, with support from the Neighbour in Need Foundation (Austria).
