The Ukrainian Red Cross Team Provides Assistance at the Site of the Attack in Poltava
Volunteers from the Poltava regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross are responding at the site of a recent attack in Poltava, providing first aid and psychological first aid.
Residents of the damaged buildings are also receiving humanitarian aid, including OSB boards, tarpaulins, plastic sheeting and other building materials for temporary repairs.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, fires broke out in several buildings following the morning Russian attack on the city. It has been reported that two people died and 47 others were injured.
Emergency rescue operations have now been completed.
