Applications Open on 26 May 2025 for the 4th Cohort of the REDpreneurUA Programme
The REDpreneurUA programme, an initiative supporting Ukrainian entrepreneurs in building sustainable, socially-oriented businesses, will begin accepting applications for its fourth cohort on 26 May 2025.
The programme is implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross in partnership with the Austrian Red Cross and with support from the Neighbour in Need Foundation (Austria). Training for the fourth cohort will be provided through the Ukrainian Future business incubator, an innovation-driven platform for entrepreneurial development in Ukraine.
REDpreneurUA equips aspiring entrepreneurs with the knowledge, practical skills, mentorship, and funding needed to launch or rebuild their own businesses. The programme places particular focus on initiatives with a social, environmental, or innovative impact, and supports participants who aim to contribute to Ukraine’s recovery through entrepreneurship.
Eligibility Criteria
The programme is open to Ukrainian citizens aged 18 to 59 who:
- Reside in government-controlled areas of Ukraine.
- Have a business idea in a sustainable sector with a social, environmental, or innovative focus.
- Do not currently own a business or wish to restart their own.
- Have reliable internet access to take part in online training.
Applicants from vulnerable groups, such as internally displaced persons (IDPs) or people with disabilities, will be given priority consideration, provided they meet the other eligibility criteria.
Programme Overview
- 25 participants will have the opportunity to complete an intensive training programme provided by the Ukrainian Future business incubator.
- 10 finalists will receive additional support to implement their business ideas, including €7,000 in funding to help develop ventures that support local communities, create jobs, and build financially sustainable business models capable of attracting investment and ensuring long-term success.
