Ultrasound Diagnostics Now Available on Site in the Mykolaiv Region

Thanks to the REDpreneurUA programme, which promotes social entrepreneurship at the regional level within the Ukrainian Red Cross, ultrasound diagnostics are now available on-site in the Mykolaiv region.

As part of the programme, a modern mobile ultrasound system with software for smart devices has been purchased. This system allows patients to check the health of their internal organs, not just in hospitals, but also directly in their communities.

“We couldn’t travel to a city or district centre for a check-up. Having this service available locally is so convenient. We came whenever we needed to, had the examinations we required, and received expert advice,” says Alla, a local resident.

Since 11 February 2025, more than 250 people have already had essential medical examinations.
