Exchange of Experience with Armenian Colleagues: How to Develop Social Business in Communities
The Ukrainian Red Cross team has completed a three-day intensive working visit to share experiences with Armenian colleagues on launching social start-ups, running business incubators, and supporting women, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and others. The goal is to implement best practices for further development of social entrepreneurship in Ukraine.
Among the successful projects implemented in Armenia by internally displaced persons and those seeking positive change are hairdressing salons, creative spaces, rehabilitation and adaptation centres for children with various developmental disabilities, and many other initiatives aimed at addressing socially important needs.
Our team also presented the RED HUB to our partners — a business incubator and accelerator created by the Ukrainian Red Cross to foster social business initiatives.
We are grateful to our colleagues from the Austrian Red Cross (Österreichisches Rotes Kreuz) for the opportunity, through the REDpreneurUA project, to adopt international experience and tailor it to Ukrainian communities!
