In Korop, a youth volunteer space of the Ukrainian Red Cross has been launched
A youth volunteer space is now operating on the basis of a separate unit of the Chernihiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross in the village of Korop. Young people played a key role in the creation of the space, actively contributing their ideas and suggestions.
The space is equipped with essential furniture, technical equipment, board games, and books. It will host a variety of activities, including thematic and informational meetings, training programmes, film nights, Life Skills sessions, and many other events aimed at fostering youth development and providing leisure opportunities. Young people will also have the chance to learn first aid, gain awareness about mine risks, and discuss and implement socially beneficial projects to improve life in the community.
The project was implemented by the team of the Chernihiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross with the support of the British Red Cross.
