Ukrainian Red Cross informs children of Kyiv region about the threat of explosive devices
Volunteer instructors from the Kyiv regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society held information sessions on the dangers of mines and explosive remnants of war at the Myrchanka gymnasium of the Borodianka village council.
Information sessions were held at the gymnasium for students in grades one through nine, and at the kindergarten for the youngest pupils. The purpose of these sessions is to inform children and teenagers about the threat of mines and other explosive remnants of war, as well as to teach them the rules of safe behavior, especially in the affected communities.
It should be noted that the volunteers’ work is aimed at conducting outreach activities not only in classrooms of educational institutions, but also in bomb shelters during air alerts.
We would like to remind you of the basic rules of safe behavior that must be followed:
- do not approach
- do not touch
- call 101 and 102;
- inform others of the danger.
