Supporting single pensioners in the Luhansk region.

Social assistants of the Ukrainian Red Cross help lonely people who remain in the region’s villages with their daily chores.

Due to poor health, most of these people cannot kindle the wood stove, fetch water from the well, or even cook dinner. Therefore, this work is performed by social workers of the Red Cross of Ukraine, who visit them regularly.

This assistance is implemented through the Ukrainian Red Cross “Home-based care” line of work.
