Twenty-seven territorial communities in the Rivne region have received fire and rescue equipment from the Ukrainian Red Cross
The fire and rescue equipment was handed over to local and volunteer fire brigades as part of an All-Ukrainian project aimed at improving the safety of territorial communities. This initiative was carried out in cooperation with the Rivne Regional Military Administration, the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Rivne region, the Rivne regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross, and the Association of Volunteer Fire Brigades of Ukraine. The transfer occurred recently at the premises of the Rivne Region’s Special Purpose Emergency and Rescue Unit.
The equipment includes protective clothing, fire helmets, gloves, and primary fire extinguishing and warning devices, all of which will enhance the capabilities of local and volunteer firefighters in responding to fires in rural areas of the Rivne region.
